Runes

Runes are functionally identical to Bait with the Eternal Bait type. They work as permanent attachable modifiers that players can insert into their rods to gain specific advantages during fishing.

What Makes a Rune?

• A rune is a bait with:

  • durability = 0 → meaning it never breaks and can be removed at any time.

• Runes provide persistent effects as long as they are slotted into the rod.

• You can configure runes the same way as baits, with their own:

  • Item appearance

  • Modifiers

  • Conflicts

  • Custom lore
